Youth Center Nova Gorica carries out sports tournaments throughout the year in collaboration with Italian youth centers. The slogan of the programme is: »YOUNG PEOPLE OF TWO NATIONS IN ONE TOWN«, which can also be seen in the name of the programme (»YOUNG-GO«).

 We are connected by sports.

It's a series of tournaments in...

...beach volley...

... street hockey...

Sports are played in different combinations, individually or in groups of three or four.  Young people compete for the title »KINGS OF NOVA GORICA'S SPORTS GROUNDS«.
The tournaments always attract a lot of people.  Slovenians from Italy also participate in the programme.

 We are proud that our young people create, coordinate and organize tournaments.

The programme is realised in collaboration with Nova Gorica Hall of Residence (Dijaški dom Nova Gorica), where we host the tournament in spring and in fall. 

The programme is entirely co-financed by

the Municipality of Nova Gorica and the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth.
